Western Michigan senior captain Dylan Sing has been named the Men's National Player of the Week by College Soccer News for the week ending on Oct. 1. Sing scored the only goals in both of the Mustangs' 1-0 victories over Wright State and #20 UIC last week. The Mustangs have extended their unbeaten streak to nine games, one shy of last year's record of 10 games. Sing has also broken the program record for consecutive games with a goal, scoring in six straight matches. He has seven goals this season and 24 in his career, tying him for fourth in WMU history. The Mustangs will face Evansville on the road on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
